Fatheadz eyewear for men and Fatheadz Dea eyewear for women are always comfortable, pinch-free, and flattering. Move beyond frustrating frames—this contemporary eyewear collection offers bold and elegant options in wide widths to fit larger heads.
The Fatheadz collection for men features eyewear with extended temple lengths, bridge widths, and eye sizes. This generously proportioned eyewear is intended to fit a variety of head sizes, in fashionable contemporary frames to suit a range of tastes.
Fatheadz created its Dea line of eyewear for women with larger facial features. Explore appealing styles in standard and extended sizes to complement any face shape. Every woman who struggles to find eyewear that fits will want to browse the Dea line to find fashionable and feminine frames that feel as good as they look.
You’ll find the modern styling and the classic edge you prefer within the Fatheadz eyewear collection, including sporty wraparound frames, classic wayfarers, and sleek metal frames, in contemporary full-rim and semi-rimless styles. Fatheadz eyewear is designed to provide grip and comfort specifically for the man with a large or wide head—these frames feature longer temple arms and wider bridge and lens widths so they don’t slip, slide, or pinch.
The Fatheadz Dea collection features women’s semi-rimless and full-rim frames in vibrant colors and lively patterns, in an array of silhouettes from classic to contemporary. The woman looking for sleek, modern frames will find understated rectangles to love, but the Dea line also includes retro-leaning cat-eye silhouettes. Ovals, squares, and rounded-edge shapes complete the collection, with options that complement any size face. Look for on-trend accents and luxe detailing; intricately sculpted temples, metal accents on the rims, and a variety of metallic features on the temples add a touch of sophistication.
The Fatheadz and Dea eyewear collections include frames made in metal, plastic, or a combination of both. Most metal frames are made in durable, rust-resistant Monel, an alloy that adjusts easily and retains its shape. Other metal frames come in lightweight, rugged titanium, a hypoallergenic metal which resists corrosion. Plastic frames are typically made in sturdy plant-based acetate, a versatile, lustrous material which lends itself to an eye-catching array of vibrant colors and prints. You’ll also find hypoallergenic Zyl and flexible TR90 nylon in some Fatheadz frames styles.
Fatheadz founder Rico Elmore forgot his sunglasses on a trip to Las Vegas—and after trying on too many frames in an attempt to find a pair that fit, he joked about starting his own eyewear company to accommodate large heads. In 2004, after consulting with designers and patenting a variety of designs, and influenced by his career in commercial trucking, Elmore launched Fatheadz with a lineup of 10 sunglasses frames with wide rims. Fatheadz has now grown to include five lines of eyewear for men and women, including the Dea line. And though Dea includes frames in standard sizes, this designer eyewear is specifically made to be fun, fashionable, and comfortable for the woman who struggles to find larger-sized frames that fit. Today, Fatheadz eyewear includes hundreds of on-trend sunglasses and eyeglasses styles, with an emphasis on proper fit, all-day comfort, UV protection, and anti-reflective, anti-glare lenses that stand up to heavy wear.
Our collection includes all your favorite Fatheadz and Dea frames styles in hundreds of iterations, from the classics to reimagined or updated versions of the originals.
